CBR welcomes proposals for different avenues of research support. We are especially keen to support multi-centre studies leading to evidence-based improvements in clinical care. We are an independent non-governmental organisation, meaning that we have no obligatory role but we are available to provide practical help as needed.
We can offer PAGED research support along the following lines:
P- Publicity and Promotion. Through our network of contacts at paediatric neurology centres, newsletters to BPNA members, our website, conference stands and flyers
A – Administrative support. Guidance and hands-on preparation of grant funding and governance applications.
G – Grant giving. (Please see seed funding scheme above) Funds available for seed-funding of pilot studies. Through UKCNRC, we are an NIHR non-commercial partner, meaning that our funded studies are eligible to use the NIHR Coordinated System for gaining NHS Permissions (CSP) and can access NHS support through the NIHR Clinical Research Network.
E – Expert panel. For help in developing ideas, statistical advice and scientific/clinical direction
D – Data collection Active chase up of study related data from clinicians
For proposals requesting support other than funding, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org
